Jason B. Porter, a Diamond McCarthy associate, practices law in the firm's New York City office where his focus is on corporate and financial restructuring.
Jason represents institutional investors, developers, and both ad-hoc and statutory creditors' committees in connection with in-court and out-of-court restructurings. He also represents liquidators, receivers and creditors in cross-border insolvency proceedings, including those commenced under Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code.
Prior to joining Diamond McCarthy in 2009, Jason was an associate at a major international firm headquartered in New York where he assisted in bankruptcy cases and restructurings.
Jason graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center where he served as the American Bar Association student representative.
Jason is licensed to practice law in New York and admitted to practice in the federal district courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
