Reda M. Hicks is a partner in Diamond McCarthy’s Houston office. With experience in a wide range of complex commercial litigation, Reda’s practice focus includes environmental tort actions, director and officer liability suits, accounting liability suits and securities litigation.

Since joining Diamond McCarthy in 2005, Reda has worked on a number of notable cases including two with international reach: the ongoing representation of a Philippine province in an environmental tort case against a multinational mining company, and the representation of a major Dutch bank in a suit involving officer and director liability and breach of fiduciary duty claims.

Reda is a certified LEED Green Associate. She graduated from the University of California Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor as well as a Certification of Specialization in Environmental Law. At Boalt, Reda was the publishing editor of the Ecology Law Quarterly, served as competitive teams coordinator for the Boalt Hall Moot Court Board and was a fellow in the Environmental Law Institute's Associates Program.

A frequent lecturer and the author of many articles on a range of legal issues, Reda is particularly known for analyzing environmental and hazardous material cases in the U.S. and abroad.

Reda is licensed to practice in Texas and New York, and is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the New York State Bar Association.
