Diamond McCarthy is proud to congratulate the Dallas attorneys who not only participated in the 19th Annual Freedom Run’s Corporate Team Event, but also finished the event with outstanding results.
Senior Counsel Bart Sloan and Associates Nicole E. Karam and Shelby Taylor were of the five team members who assisted in leading the team to a victory of first place in the 5k race. Final team rankings were determined by the average resulting times of the participating teams’ fastest runners.
The Firm is also proud to report that Nicole placed first amongst all women in the 5K race with a time of 22:51.
First organized by the Dallas Young Lawyer’s Association nineteen years ago, The Freedom Run was created as an opportunity to unite and honor the victims and heroes of the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The 5K run and 1 mile walk raises money for the Dallas Police Association Assist the Officer Foundation and is North Texas’ largest known tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11.
