With clients spanning diverse industries from mining, energy and environmental services to manufacturing and travel, José González focuses on commercial litigation, international arbitration and cross-border disputes. His litigation practice covers a broad range of areas, such as contract claims, fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, and disputes concerning employment and non-compete agreements.
José has handled a number of strategic transactions and corporate matters, including negotiating and drafting asset-purchase agreements, employment agreements and confidentiality agreements. He also has significant experience in overseeing due diligence and negotiations in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance for foreign corporations with Mexican subsidiaries and maintaining compliance with Mexican regulations.
Fluent in Spanish and French, José previously served as a certified English and French translator for three years in the State Supreme Court in Monterrey, México.
