Karen Diep focuses on resolving commercial litigation with large dollar amounts at stake and demanding issues, including contract disputes, fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, conflicts involving company management and control, unfair competition, and many more. She also helps receivers and bankruptcy trustees investigate and prosecute claims involving Ponzi schemes, fraudulent transfers, professional negligence and similar misconduct that forces a company into insolvency or other financial distress.
In addition, Karen handles a wide variety of trusts and estates litigation matters, such as will contests on behalf of estate beneficiaries, fraud and asset mismanagement claims against trust and estate fiduciaries, and trust modifications.
Karen serves as co-chair of the San Francisco Bankruptcy Barrister Section. She is also a contributing writer for the Federal Circuit Writers Project of the Federal Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Section, which covers the latest published cases involving bankruptcy law in the Ninth Circuit.
