An Associate in the San Francisco office, Charles focuses his practice on commercial litigation with an emphasis on employment and disability law. Charles also has experience in negotiating and engaging in alternative dispute resolution approaches. 

Previously assisting municipal entities and local and national corporations, Charles has experience in managing direct discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings filed in both federal and state court, agreements, stipulations, mediation briefs, as well as drafting motions for summary judgement and determinations of good faith settlement. 

Charles received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, cum laude, where he served as Senior Supervising Editor of the Constitutional Law Quarterly. He also received his B.A. in History, magna cum laude, Minor in Spanish, and was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society and received the National Spanish Honor Society Scholarship. During his undergraduate degree, Charles was also on the Dean's List and participated in the Honors thesis program.
