Sheryl P. Giugliano is a Partner in Diamond McCarthy’s New York office. Her experience includes representing debtors, creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy cases.  In addition, Sheryl assists with non-bankruptcy corporate matters including financial restructuring and advising clients on their rights and remedies in contractual disputes, and bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy commercial litigation matters. 
 
Prior to joining the firm, Sheryl was an associate at a bankruptcy, litigation, and general corporate practice.  Before that, she completed her LL.M. degree while working as an associate with a boutique commercial real estate firm in White Plains, New York.  During law school, Sheryl served as Research Editor of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review, and continues to contribute to the Law Review as well as the LL.M. Program by grading briefs and serving as a judge for competitors in the Annual Chief Judge Conrad B. Duberstein Moot Court Competition.  
 
In addition to practicing law, Sheryl demonstrates a commitment to meaningful causes through her work with charitable organizations. Sheryl was an active member of the Committee for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Long Island Luncheon in 2013 and 2014.  Sheryl also raised thousands of dollars for Team Labrecque: Uniting Against Lung Cancer, the MS Society, and the ALS Association Greater New York Chapter, by participating in New York City marathons and half marathons, and coordinating a U.S.T.A. certified 5K road race in 2015.
