Dallas Partner Mark K. Sales was recognized as “Lawyer of the Year” in the category of Litigation – Trusts and Estates. Previously serving as a Director of the State Bar of Texas from 2007 to 2010 and President of the Dallas Bar Association in 2006, Sales is an experienced commercial litigator with a focus on probate, trust and related fiduciary duty litigation. He also represents clients on a wide variety of trial and appellate matters in the federal and state courts. In addition to “Lawyer of the Year”, Sales also was selected as a “Best Lawyers in America” in the 2020 Edition. These recognitions accompany Sales’ additional achievement of being selected as a Thomson Reuters “Super Lawyer” for fifteen succeeding years.
San Francisco Partner Christopher D. Sullivan was recognized as “Lawyer of the Year” in the category of Litigation – Bankruptcy. Sullivan currently practices in complex and high-stakes litigation with a particular focus in bankruptcy, third party and professionally liability, intellectual property and business divorce matters. Sullivan also was selected as a “Best Lawyers in America” by Best Lawyers, and has additionally been recognized as a Thomson Reuters “Super Lawyer” for ten consecutive years.
The Best Lawyers 2020 Edition has also recognized five outstanding Diamond McCarthy attorneys in Texas and California as “Best Lawyers in America” in seven practice area categories.
