Scott is an Associate in the International Dispute Resolution Practice in Washington D.C. He represents clients in investor-State and international commercial disputes.
Before joining Diamond McCarthy, Scott worked as an Assistant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, the Netherlands, where he provided legal and administrative support to dispute resolution mechanisms and assisted the Secretary-General in designating and appointing authority matters, including appointments and challenges, under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.
Scott earned his JD from Yale Law School, where he served as a features editor for the Yale Journal of International law, Vice President of the YLS National Security Group, Student Staff Editor for Just Security, and was a Salzburg Cutler Law Fellow. Scott received his MA cum laude in International Security from Sciences-Po Paris and his BA magna cum laude in Linguistics with a minor in Cognitive Science from Carleton College.
Scott is admitted to practice in New York and speaks English, French, Arabic, and Hebrew.
