The City of Houston recently hosted its second Boards & Commissions Fair with Diamond McCarthy Houston Partner, Sofia Adrogué, serving as Founding Chair once again.
With a mission and vision to diversify the current group of existing representatives, public officials, and members of the boards, in addition to filling/reappointing past and open seats, the at capacity event took place in the Legacy Room of City Hall on August 26, 2023. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and board member, Sofia Adrogué, among others, addressed the 200+ attendees interested in learning more about the Boards and Commissions process and open positions.
